| Episode Narrative | A complex storm system brought a wintry mix of precipitation fell across Eastern Kentucky on December 15th into the 16th. The heaviest precipitation fell mainly along and north of the Mountain Parkway, where freezing rain, sleet, and snow created hazardous travel conditions. A warm front moved north across the area late on the 16th, changing the precipitation to all rain from south to north. |
