| Episode Narrative | A strong cold front was accompanied by a squall line of thunderstorms with strong winds. Despite record warm temperatures in the 70's, instability was minimal where the narrow squall line occurred. Winds were very strong in the lower levels of the atmosphere. Widespread wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range were observed along the squall line. The storms were not prolific lightning producers. |
