| Episode Narrative | Extensive rains fell in western Middle Tennessee in October but much less rain occurred where it was needed most in the east half of the region, including the Cumberland Plateau. Rains across the east half of Middle Tennessee were roughly one inch below normal which added to the on-going rainfall deficit across the area. Much of the east part of Middle Tennessee remained in severe (D2 classification) drought conditions during October. |
