Episode Narrative A deep, moist southeasterly flow with embedded upper disturbances produced widespread showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall in southern New Mexico.
Event Narrative Cuchillo Creek overflowed, closing nearby roads as well as Highway 187 near Las Palomas. Levees were washed out and at least one home was heavily damaged.
