Episode Narrative A stationary front extended from central Minnesota into central Wisconsin on July 16. Thunderstorms developed and remained nearly stationary over extreme southeast Minnesota during the evening hours. This produced very heavy rainfall of up to four inches in La Crescent. Flooding and mudslides were reported in parts of Houston and Winona counties.
Event Narrative Consecutive thunderstorms hit extreme northeast parts of Houston County causing flash flooding and quick rises on Pine Creek. Flash flooding was also reported in La Crescent.
