Episode Narrative An unstable atmosphere combined with plenty of moisture over eastern New Mexico to trigger strong winds and large hail over Quay, Roosevelt and Chaves Counties. Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Roswell during the late evening and early morning hours.
Event Narrative Several reports of law enforcement vehicles flooded on the north side of Roswell. One vehicle was washed away and later found on Berrendo road near Berrendo Creek.
