| Episode Narrative |
Isolated thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon. Large differences between the temperature and dew point at the surface caused much of the precipitation to evaporate before reaching the ground, which led to severe downburst winds. Severe wind gusts were reported at the Alva mesonet site, with a peak gust of 71 mph. No damage was reported. |
