This boundary interacted with an upper level storm system to produce severe flooding and isolated damaging wind gusts across San Augustine and Sabine Counties in Northeast Texas.
Event Narrative Excessive heavy rainfall resulted in numerous road closures including some secondary roads which were washed out. The rainfall which began during the late evening hours of the 15th and ended during the overnight hours of the 16th resulted in rainfall totals near 5 inches across the northern portion of the county to near 10.5 inches across the southern portion of the county.
