Episode Narrative Scattered afternoon and late evening thunderstorms developed over the area. The combination of strong instability with steep low-level lapse rates produced large hail and damaging downbursts in the stronger storms.
Event Narrative Two trees were blown down near Sanford. One tree fell down on Buffalo Church Road. Another tree was reported down, blocking traffic on Carbonton Road.
