Thirty-one states observed their warmest Spring on record in 2012. Twenty-nine states are working on their warmest year-to-date (January through May) on record. These tables show the warmest Spring and Jan-May periods on record for the contiguous United States and each of the states and regions therein. Records for each of these states and regions begin in January 1895. Note: 2012 data are still considered preliminary. More final data will be available within months.
