Phenology Data

All data in the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology archive are contributed by research scientists. Contributors and references are available in readme or data file headers. Here is a Sample Data Citation.

The NOAA Paleoclimatology Program distributes archives of North American phenology data - first leaf and first bloom dates for lilac shrubs (Syringa chinensis and Syringa vulgaris). Monitoring of growing season changes may provide insight into ecosystem responses to global climate change.
