| The goal of the Atlas is to produce paleoenvironmental reconstructions of Beringia. Here we present the results of our analyses in the form of climate inferences and vegetation inferences from fossil data and climate model experiments. At present we have paleotemperature estimates for fossil beetle remains for twenty samples ranging in age from 8,000 C14 years BP to 21,000 years BP. |
