The Monsoon Asia Drought Atlas (MADA) is a 2.5° x 2.5° gridded reconstruction of Asian monsoon drought
and pluvials over the
past millennium using the June-August Palmer Drought Severity Index(PDSI), derived from a network of tree-ring chronologies.(Cook et al. 2010)
Use the map below to view time series of PDSI during the last millennium. Click on grid points to select or deselect grid cells. Multiple points can be selected; an averaged time series of the selected points will be plotted.
