HURSAT Basin
Summary
HURAST Basin is similar to HURSAT-B1 in that it derives from the ISCCP B1 data. Therefore, it has the same temporal and spatial resolutions as HURSAT-B1. However, the difference is that the gridded data spans the entire basin and is fixed (i.e., it doesn't move to follow storms like HURSAT-B1). For more details see the comparison chart.
The figure above shows the distribution of the basins and their general spatial coverage.
Availability
Data for some years are available on FTP. Users may request data for other years (given the same temporal coverage of the HURSAT-B1 data).Notification of data set usage
