Report Descriptions

Cooperative Data Completeness
Data Completeness reports are generated for the most current data month after final processing at NCDC. The reports are available by National Weather Service (NWS) Region, Regional Climate Center (RCC) region, and state and are sorted by Weather Forecast Office (WFO). Only those stations with less that 80% completeness are listed on the NWS and RCC reports. All stations are listed on state reports with those stations with less than 80% completeness displayed in red.

Cooperative Data Quality
Quality assurance reports are generated for the most current data month after final processing at NCDC. The reports are available by National Weather Service (NWS) Region, Regional Climate Center (RCC) region, and state and are sorted by Weather Forecast Office (WFO). Only those stations with 8 or more days with detected error(s) are listed on the NWS and RCC reports. All stations are listed on state reports with those stations with 8 or more days with detected error(s) displayed in red.

Cooperative Data Validity
Data Validity reports are generated for the most current data month after final processing at NCDC. The reports are available by National Weather Service (NWS) Region, Regional Climate Center (RCC) region, and state and are sorted by Weather Forecast Office (WFO). Only those stations with less that 80% validity are listed on the NWS and RCC reports. All stations are listed on state reports with those stations with less than 80% validity displayed in red.

Cooperative Missing Station Report
Missing station reports are generated for the most current data month after final processing at NCDC. The reports are available by National Weather Service (NWS) Region, Regional Climate Center (RCC) region, and state and are sorted by Weather Forecast Office (WFO). The beginning record date for the station is included along with the last data month available.

Cooperative Station Watch List
The station watch list is generated from the non-climatic changepoint detection routines for maximum and minimum temperature. The report lists those stations with a changepoint in the past 12 months that do not have a corresponding metadata change within 6 months of the detected changepoint. Reports are currently generated for NWS Regions only.

Cooperative Station Watch Report
The station watch report includes both information from the non-climatic changepoint detection routines and metadata changes over time for a given station.

Cooperative Station Changepoint Detection List
The station changepoint detection list is generated from the non-climatic changepoint detection routines for maximum and minimum temperature. Stations appearing on the watchlist have detected changepoints starting in 199301. Changepoint dates that do not lie within a 6-month metadata change date window are presented in bold text. Reports are currently generated for NWS Regions only.

Cooperative Station Monthly Snapshot
Monthly station snapshots provide detailed completeness, quality, and validity information for a given station and yearmonth.
