It is extremely important that all investigators inform the custodian of the Toga-Coare website of any changes that affect users in locating the most up-to-date data. This includes notification of changes in ftp sites and/or paths, as well as ensuring that the correct data center has the most recent version of his/her data and that any corresponding README files associated with the data are up-to-date. Recently, NCDC has received several complaints by users trying to locate certain types of Toga-Coare data. The users encountered several dead-end ftp links, and had a difficult time finding the most recent data. Please review and abide by the responsibilities for the investigators as outlined on the opening Toga-Coare web page. The Toga-Coare User's Guide is the most up-to-date and comprehensive source of information about the COARE datasets, and the community must ensure that NCDC is notified of any changes for the benefit of present and future users. Thank you for your help in ensuring that all users of the data can easily find the most current data.
