BackgroundDuring the TOGA COARE Intensive Observing Period (IOP), the PRC R/V Xiangyanghong #5 was stationed at 2 05'S,154 30'E for the following three legs:
The Xiangyanghong #5 primarily supported TOGA radar operations in addition to CTD, ADCP and sounding measurements.
