U.S. Daily Snowfall and Snow Depth Data

This webpage provides access to preliminary* daily snowfall and snow depth observations collected from National Weather Service (NWS) Cooperative Observer stations and NWS First Order stations. The daily observations are included in a text file for each month from July 2005 to the present. Use the pulldown menus below to select the month and year of interest for either snowfall or snow depth data.

*This website was developed to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency's need for near real-time observations used in assessing requests for disaster assistance. Final quality controlled snowfall observations are available by contacting NCDC Customer Services at NCDC.Orders@noaa.gov.
