Climate of 2003 - October
Wyoming Drought

National Climatic Data Center, 14 November 2003

Wyoming has been afflicted by severe drought for much of the last five years. The southwestern portions of the state have been especially dry, with as little as 70-75% of normal precipitation, or less, falling for the last 48 to 60 months.
