Kansas Drought

Kansas has had significant rains in recent weeks, but long-term dryness persisted. As noted by USDA meteorologist Brad Rippey, reports from the Wheat Quality Council's Kansas wheat tour indicated that drought-stricken regions of western Kansas had wheat that was described "in horrible shape."
