Climate of 2002 - September
Delaware Drought

National Climatic Data Center, 11 October 2002

September marked a return to wetter-than-normal conditions, statewide, interrupting a four-month spell of below to slightly below-normal rainfall. However, longer-term conditions remain very dry, with the hydrologic year (October-September) ranking as seventh driest in the 108-year record.
