NCDC Contour/Vector Graphing Options

  READ THIS!

Due to the complexity of these contour plots, the average plot takes approximate ly 20-30 seconds depending on the size of the region selected. Therefore, the t ime to wait is multiplied by the number of plots chosen to be displayed at once, (ie. if you choose 4 plots expect to wait about 90 seconds). Note, Peak Gust Direction and Speed takes twice as long because it is a vector plot.

WARNING: Some browsers have a default ti meout setting. If your browser times out you must change the setting in your br owsers preferences menu.
Also, if you are using the America On-Line Web Brows er you may have problems depending on what version the browswer is.

How many contour plots to display at once?

(ex. If you choose 4, your plots will be displayed like the image above.)
