Proposal Workshop

The CDMP ninth annual Data Access Workshop was held November 8-11, 2010, at the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Fisheries Ecology Division in Santa Cruz, California. The workshop allowed NOAA task leaders to share their progress and experiences on current CDMP rescue tasks.

The workshop also provided a forum for presenting FY11 proposals for rescuing and digitizing NOAA's historical climate and environmental data to NOAA CDMP and contractor staff. These proposed tasks varied widely: from historical fish landing catch data, historic high-low water data, and solar and sunspot research, to scanning and digitizing Angolan surface and upper air data.

Proposal Presentations

Over sixty proposals were presented by representatives from the various NOAA Line Offices and Data Centers during the two-day workshop. Thank you to all attendees as well as to all who submitted proposals in absentia.
