Minimum Requirements

This CD contains the Climate Atlas of the Contiguous United States.

It was produced by the National Climatic Data Center, Asheville, North Carolina.

Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 installed   (NOTE: This version is not supported in Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP.   A version for those operating systems is available here.)

Pentium 75 MHz   (400+ MHz recommended)

32 MB RAM        (64+ MB recommended)

4 X CD-ROM      (24+ X recommended)

21 MB Hard disk space available for minimum installation

600 MB Hard disk space available for hard disk installation

NOTE: One of the main components of this Atlas is its map browser, ArcExplorer 1.1. ArcExplorer is a free data browser from Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI). ESRI does not support ArcExplorer except by offering a user forum. ESRI lists Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 (NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 installed) as the operating systems ArcExplorer is designed for. ESRI does not list Windows 2000 for ArcExplorer 1.1.
