U.S. Drought Monitor Update for May 20, 2014
According to the May 20, 2014, U.S. Drought Monitor, moderate to exceptional drought held steady this week, continuing to cover 38.1% of the contiguous United States. However, the worst drought categories (extreme to exceptional drought) increased slightly from 14.0% last week to 14.5%.
