Latest Regional Climate Impacts and Outlooks Reports Released
On June 24, NOAA and its partners released the regional climate outlooks for the second quarter of 2013. These regional climate outlooks discuss the major climate events during the past three months and contain historical seasonal assessments as well as future climate outlooks.

The continuing drought conditions in the Southern Plains led to monthly production of the Southern Great Plains Region report to assist in drought assessment and preparation of those impacted by the current conditions.
NOAA and its partners created these Climate Outlooks to inform the public about recent climate impacts within their respective regions. Each regional report contains easy-to-understand language, and anyone can access them through the Drought Portal at www.drought.gov.
