Overview: System Access

HOMR

HOMR is NCDC's integrated station history database that provides in situ metadata in support of NCDC research, reporting, data products and web applications. This repository tracks historical names, identifiers, locations, and equipment for stations located on all continents, but the most extensive history is for the US sites like the National Weather Service's Cooperative program. This station information is used in the plotting, interpretation, and analysis of climate data.

Use the search bar on the homepage to access station histories.
