Global Salinity and Sea Surface Temperature Reconstruction during the Last Glacial Maximum

Salinity and sea surface temperature(SST) have been reconstructed on a 1deg x 1deg grid for the last glacial maximum by Schafer-Neth and Paul. The 'line' version is based on the LGM SST isolines provided by Plaumann et al. (2003), whereas the 'core' version employed the SST estimates at the individual core sites.
W represents the magnitude of the additional Weddell Sea salinity anomaly: 0 = no anomaly, 5 = 0.55 salinity units, and 1 = 1 unit. Ice is displayed as gray in the images.
For complete details on the analysis see the full data set description.
